No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Shared Website Hosting
If you host your websites in a shared website hosting account from our firm, you will not have to worry about any of your data ever getting corrupted. We can guarantee that due to the fact that our cloud hosting platform uses the leading-edge ZFS file system. The latter is the only file system that uses checksums, or unique digital fingerprints, for each file. All the data that you upload will be stored in a RAID i.e. simultaneously on many different NVMes. All of the file systems synchronize the files between the different drives using this type of a setup, but there is no real guarantee that a file will not be corrupted. This can happen during the writing process on each drive and then a damaged copy may be copied on the other drives. What is different on our platform is the fact that ZFS analyzes the checksums of all files on all the drives immediately and when a corrupted file is located, it's replaced with a good copy with the correct checksum from another drive. In this way, your information will stay unharmed no matter what, even if an entire drive fails.
No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you obtain one of our semi-dedicated hosting plans, you will not need to worry about silent data corruption as we use ZFS - an advanced file system that monitors all of the files in real time. Every time you upload a file to your account, ZFS will assign a unique digital fingerprint to it - the so-called checksum. This file will be synchronized between a couple of NVMe drives for redundancy, so if a drive fails, the other ones will take control. ZFS compares the checksum of all copies on the different drives and if it detects a damaged copy, it replaces it with a healthy one from a different drive. This is done immediately, so there will be no risk for any part of your content at any time. In comparison, alternative file systems perform checks after a system failure, but since they do not use anything similar to the checksums that ZFS uses, they cannot detect silently corrupted files, so a bad copy may be replicated on the other drives as well and you may lose important data. As this isn't the case with ZFS, we can warrant the integrity of every single file you upload no matter what.
